Favourite First Watches of July
During the month of July I watched 55 films, and yes, some included rewatches. I ended up seeing quite a few films in cinemas this month which was great. It is always great to get out and go support your local cinema and especially the films that are playing. Whether they be indie films or big blockbusters, seeing a film in cinemas is where they were meant to be seen. This month, four of my eight favourite first watches I had the opportunity to see in cinemas and they made the experience even better. And yes, I have only just watched Titanic (1997) for the first time. Here are my eight favourite first watches of July 2023, what I rated them and when I watched them.
Side note: I saw Oppenheimer (2023) twice in cinemas. Once on the regular screen, and I had no rating for it yet. Then the second time I saw it on 70mm IMAX and that was the experience that caused me to give the film a full five stars.
